Yorkshire – third best place in the world to visit

The friendly folk of Yorkshire

16/11/23

Yes, it’s official – Conde Natste Travellers have voted Yorkshire, the third-best place in the world to visit in 2024.

The article boasts about the magnificent scenery and contrasting landscapes – the birthplace of so many famous English artists and writers over the years.

Fikkerts of course, was established in Yorkshire over a hundred years ago and is continually inspired by the vibrant culture that can be enjoyed throughout our county.  The factory is based just a stone’s throw from the birthplace of the Bronte sisters and fifteen minutes from the village of Saltaire (a popular World Heritage Site).

Yorkshire offers so much to do. Whatever your interests you can enjoy them all, in a region that is often referred to as one of the friendliest in Britain.

There are fabulous restaurants, ranging from exquisite little tea shops to gastro pubs, Michellin star restaurants and 5-star hotel retreats.  Shopping is always fun with an eclectic mix of local products and international designer brands.

Whatever your purpose for visiting Yorkshire, be careful not to leave until you have treated yourself to something special from Fikkerts.
