Are your products vegan ?
The majority of our products are vegan. However please check the ingredients which you will find on a tab within the product page. A small number of products may contain honey which has specific skin care benefits. All candles are soy wax as there are no benefits to the customer if beeswax is used as an alternative.
Are all ingredients natural?
Fikkerts products are labelled as natural. This is because a minimum of 97% of the ingredients is naturally derived. This is the industry standard for any toiletry company claiming that their products are natural. Unfortunately, in order to have a realistic shelf life without being stored in a refrigerator, we need to add a small amount of preservative. This is usually a synthetic ingredient. The exception to this is our new Fikkerts For Life range which has been developed using a new, naturally derived preservative and essential oils.
Where are Fikkerts products made?
Fikkerts products have been designed, formulated and manufactured in Yorkshire, England, since 1903.
What does sustainable palm oil mean?
Sustainable palm oil is palm oil produced with the lowest environmental impact possible, in a socially responsible and environmentally friendly way. It's produced with a promise of No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation (NDPE) throughout production.
Is it safe to use my credit card ?
Security
At Fikkerts we understand how important security is to you. When you order online with us, we use Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption technology. This is the most advanced consumer online security technique to date. You can be assured that your order will be placed safely and securely.
In order for encryption to take place, your browser must have the SSL protocol. The following browsers have this software:
• Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher
• Mozilla Firefox 2.0.4 and higher
• Safari 2.0.4 and higher
Do you accept international orders ?
International
At this moment in time you are unable to order online from overseas. This is due to the extremely high and unpredictable carriage charges that the UK is currently experiencing. However, if you are an international customer and wish to place an order with us, please contact our customer service department and they will be able to provide you with a price for delivery. Should you like to go ahead you may then place an order by phone.
